Premier League Unveils New Logo

The Premier League has revealed they will be using a new logo in the 2016-17 season, which they’ve unveiled.

The lion icon that has been used and implemented since 1992, has undergone a makeover giving it a fresh and modern look.

And the 20 clubs in the top flight have agreed a new centralised partnership that will see the league without a named sponsor.

Barclays have opted not to renew their £40 million-a-year deal, which expires at the end of the season, with a host of secondary partners set to replace them.

As a result the division will be known simply as The Premier League as of next August.
